SLIIT came second best in the recently held Imagine Cup 2008 competition. Team Gagana from SLIIT were runners up while team Sasrutha from UOM were the champs. The theme for this year was Technology for a sustainable environment .More details and the rest of the winners can be found in the official Sri Lankan site for Imagine Cup. According to some the event wasn't a major success but its glad to see SLIIT students consistently performing well in Competitions.

Hi,
The champions were the team Sasrutha from University of Moratuwa, Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Engineering, NOT the team e-c from UCSC.
Any way Congratulations to all the teams.
