Last year my first blog post was about how I’m going to publish 100 blog posts and take this blog to the next level. A quick look at the archives will show that I only managed a measly 12. The thing is I often write long detailed blog posts which take a lot of time. So this year my new year resolution is 25 awesome blog posts.
This year the start is also good. My article about 70+ websites to submit your start-up got quite a lot of attention. Although I know people will find it useful I didn’t hope for such a high response. Getting a private mail thanking me for the list was awesome. It’s moments like that which makes blogging such a wonderful things.
This year I’m going to focus a lot on start-up marketing. This is logical since I work for a start-up that created a diagramming software Creately and about to launch a task management app that we hope change the way people look at work. And last year we managed to do some great things with Creately and I believe there is a lot other start-ups can learn from our experience. So if you’re connected to a start-up in any way, especially an early stage one then keep tuned in for some detailed posts.
Finally I want to know what you want from this blog. Because I manage quite a few niche blogs I tend to focus less on this one, but hopefully that will change in 2014. Ironically I made the same resolution in 2013 but I believe I’m better prepared this time.
Also I want to thank all my readers for this wonderful experience. It’s been a great journey from 2007 and I couldn’t have done it without your support. So a big thank you and wish you all a very happy and a prosperous new year.
