HTML code to add a Favicon

With one line of HTML code you can add a Favicon to your blog , it is so easy to add a favicon to your blog I just can't understand why people don't add it. It really helps out in the branding and stickability of your blog. More than the adding part I think what scares people most is the creating part, but there are many websites that help you to create a favicon for free , so it is really not an excuse to not add a favicon. How long do you thing it will take to upload a image to a website , click the next button a few times and add a one line of HTML code to your blog or website , well thats exactly how long it will take to add a favicon to your blog. Below is the line you need to add

<link href=’your url’ rel=’shortcut icon’ type=’image/x-icon‘/>

Replace the 'your url' part with the actual location of the ico file.

Adding a Favicon in blogspot blog

    I use SM Favicon Generator. Most of the tools do not work for gif images. This one works great and its fast.
