Now that I have got a relatively fast internet connection at home I think I'm ready to measure the progress of my blog. Since I started this blog last year it has grown steadily but I never had any targets set so I really didn't have any goal to achieve. Well that is about to change from next month because I will set some targets and try to achive it. Since I'm doing a full time blog and blogging part time I have to be realistic about my targets. I can put around 3 hours per day for blogging and more in the weekends so below are the targets I'm trying to acheive in the next month.

• Add a post per day - biggest reason I couldn't achieve this before was I was blogging from office. So if there were some urgent work I couldn't post that day .
• Add 15 articles to article submission sites ( for back links and traffic )
• Create 5 Squidoo pages ( Authority , back links and make money )
• Reach 100 subscribers ( now at 79 )
• Improve Alexa by 10,000 ( Now at 129,311 / target - 119,311 )

There are not many targets , but its always better to start small and build on that. This months earning added upto around 180$ , so next month's target is 200$. Hopefully I will make more than that .
