Four people ( 1 soldier , 3 civilians ) have being killed and 24 others have being injured by a bomb attacked carried out by the LTTE. The blast occurred near the Nippon Hotel in Slave Island around 9.30 a.m. The bombs were placed inside an external air condition unit of the Nippon Hotel. Ccondition of four of the injured are said to be critical. The target of the bomb was an army bus carrying injured army personnel to the army hospital. This is another serious blow to the government who are already being criticized for reducing the number of guards of Minister T. Maheshwaran who was assassinated yesterday.
