Analyze your back links using Back link Analyzer

Posted 26th September 2008 | View Comments

There are many things that determine your ranking in search engines but the number of back links and the quality of back links are the most important things that determines your ranking. Getting one or two back links from high quality , high PR sites is far better than getting 30-40 back links from low quality sites. Getting back links isn't enough what is more important is the anchor text attached to that back link , because that is what determines the search engine traffic your going to get. There are plenty of tools out there that you can use to analyze back links but my preferred choice is back link analyzer provided seobook.com

It currently works only in Windows and you can use it for free. The tool is pretty simple to use as well and you can find details about the Alexa rank , Google page rank and lots of other information. The link text is used by the site that linked to you is also shown and I have to day my results were very poor. Almost 70% were linked using my name , and rest were linked using Rumbling Lankan. I really should put some effort in getting back links with some decent anchor texts attached to them.

Are you analyzing your back links ? If so what are the tools you are using to analyze them , feel free to share them in the comments section.
