A bomb blast took place inside the Fort Railway station around 7.30 PM today. The explosion has occurred in the fourth platform of the railway station. One civilian suffered minor injuries because of the blast. This is another pathetic effort by the LTTE to harm civilians and create unrest in the south to cover up there heavy defeats in the north. However the recent killing of MP T.Maheshwaran and the bomb blasts were a blessing in disguise for Dr.Mervyn Silva since the media have stopped hounding him. Today the thugs who were involved in the incident were brought to court although up to now no serious action was taken against the minister.
