Internet is full of products and new products are coming out every day , so if you want to buy a product to find the answer to your question or get your work done it is very hard to decide which product to buy. And all those affiliate marketers out there isn't making the job any easier either. This is especially hard in "Make money online" niche because almost every product has positive reviews and its pretty hard to find a honest review of a product. So lets take look at few steps you can take to avoid buying those products and find a product that provides value for money. Be open minded and spend time doing the research , after all its your money
Good old Google search
You are most likely to find positive review all over the place , but you have to start somewhere right ? try searching adding the words "scam, scam or not" after the product. You are most likely to get an honest review that way. I would avoid clicking on the sponsored results that appear on Google , they are almost always positive reviews forcing you to buy through there links.
Forums
Forums are good place to ask questions and get help from people who have already used the product. But affiliates are there in forums too , so let the discussion flow a bit before you decide to buy or not.
Check for money back guarantee
Most products come with a money back guarantee these days , so make sure they can deliver on that promise. It is always good if you are buying through a reputed broker like ClickBank because then you only have to write to them to get your refund.
Check if the content is listed on the review
When you are looking at a review check whether some details of the content is listed down. It could be brief description of the chapters or an overview of the methods you can find in the product , it the description is short and takes a broad view most likely the guy who's doing the review don't have the product.
Check who's promoting it
If few reputed online marketers are promoting it then most likely the product is a good one. Buying through there link is always a good idea because most of the time they are giving away bonuses for buying through them.
If you follow these advice you have a good chance of avoiding scams. I suppose the most important point from above is the money back guarantee since you can be assured of your investment. Plenty of products out there do help you make money , but they are not as instant as they promise. Whatever product you buy , its how you implement the strategies that's given in that product that decided whether you make money online or not.

Also add “consumer review” to your search. That will point you to specific consumer review/protection web sites. They will not delete negative comments like the original sellers website.
Also check the degree of information that the seller is giving out. There are sellers who talk how wonderful their product is without disclosing and details on how it works until you make the commitment. Chances are you would not buy it if you know the details.
At least try to find how it works from another source before you make the commitment.(I am a technical guy. I don’t feel like using something if I don’t understand how it does its magic. But of course you don’t have to worry about that all the time. You just have to make sure that it does its magic once you pay for it:) )
Also if you look at reviews sometimes you will be overwhelmed with both positive and negative comments, and you don’t know what to trust. Most of the times you have to research more to figure what pre-conditions should be met in order for the products to give good results. And buy the product only if those pre-conditions will be met in your case. Some times the seller might not disclose the preconditions either because he don’t want to or he thinks that it is obvious so no need to mention.
Also if its a product available in local market you can visit a shop and take a look at it. Or borrow one from a friend who already purchased it for few days and see if it works for you (not possible for all products).
I often recommend ppl to buy things from a local shop when it comes to complex products that can break down and need repair, so you can have fast local after sails service. Often that worth the extra money you have to pay for the purchase.
– Just my experience with shopping.
