Check out AUTOPILOT TWEET - It has many of same features as Hummingbird but not as expensive. You can auto follow by keywords, auto unfollow people not following you back, schedule tweets, etc... I find it useful and works without breaking the bank

Unless you have prominent other profile you can leverage ( eg – barack obama , Oprah , JohnChow ) then building a considerable following is bit a of a hard task. Building a following depends on what you want to do with Twitter , if you are in Twitter to follow some experts and learn from them then obviously you will find no use for these software.
