Where to place your Adsense code is one of the most frequent questions asked by people who are new to Adsense. The question is so frequent there are dedicated section in forums like Digital Point to help people who are having trouble with deciding the best place to add Adsense ads. You can get a general idea of best performing places by looking at the Adsense heat map available in Adsense help. As you can see ad blocks place just above the main content tend to perform better. However this is a general heat map generated according to date taken form many blogs and the placement might not be the best one for your blog. Best thing to do is generate a heat map your own blog and find out where visitors are clicking the most. It could be your side bar or related links just under your posts. But blindly adding Adsense ads without knowing these information is going to cost you money.
The most important thing to remember is that if you are serious about making money with Adsense you need search engine traffic. Regular readers and social media visitors hardly click on Ads. This is especially true in a niche like making money online. Once you start to get search engine traffic then you can experiment with different ad placements. Now lets take a look at best places to add Adsense ads.
If your maintaining a forum then a leaderboard block just below the navigation bar is a good place to add a Adsense block. This works especially well if the forum has drop down navigation. That makes the ads almost impossible to ignore and if you have added some relevant keywords and getting targeted ads then you can see a nice increase in your Adsense earnings.
For traditional websites with side bar navigation a link list unit in the side bar is a good choice. This is especially useful if you side bar links are similar to the link list ad block. If the navigation is listed as a vertical list of links then its a good idea to add a vertical Adsense unit just below the navigation bar.
For blogs Adsense block inside posts and Adsense blocks just under posts tend to perform well. Adsense block just after posts are ignored by most thinking that people will not view and click on them very much. But after reading a post people are looking for ways to leave your site and Adsense link is great way to point them out
Although it is alright to get an opinion of your Adsense placement until you test them and track the performance of the using channels you will never know if you have the best placement or not. So take some time to set up a Adsense channel and track your ad blocks performance. You will not regret it

I doesn't really know how to earn from Adsense, but till today my earning for pass four months putting Adsense ads on my featured post, is only $32.26, most probably it will hit $100 after a year….
But I do know that, there are two ways that's proven to really make money on Adsense, one is you had to open multiple blogs and create unique content for each blog, once traffic is coming in from each blog, link them up together, it takes a lot of work to maintain multiple blogs, but there's a way to do that, I'm sure.
Another way is to create music and video site, or ring-tone site, or may be social site, all this site earn their money from Adsense, I'm not sure how to create them, so I will just shut my words now.
These are some really great tips. I used to do some AdSense publishing back in 2006 but got impatient for not making enough money. One big advantage for a Sri Lanka-based publisher is that one AdSense dollar is worth more. $5 only buys a coffee and a biscuit at a USA coffee shop, $100 only covers your cell phone bill.
Ya have to agree 100$ is a pretty big amount here in Sri Lanka. One disadvantage is that because of geo targeting clicks from visitors from Sri Lanka yields very little income.
I think the key to Adsense success is getting traffic and more importantly targeted traffic. It doesn't matter how many sites you create if you are not getting traffic you want be making much
