A while back I switched to DISQUS as my blog comment system. I have mentioned some of the reasons for the switch in my DISQUS introduction post . After using DISQUS for a while I'm convinced this is one of the best blog commenting systems out there and I will give you few more reasons on why you should use DISQUS.
Reply to comments via e-mail
Soon as you get a reply DISQUS will send mail to your specified e-mail account and all you have to do is reply to the mail with your answer and it will be displayed in your blog. This way you can easily and quickly reply to your comment without logging in to your blog control panel.
Tweets , FriendFeed likes listed down as reactions
You can easily view who is tweeting your posts or who is liking them in FriendFeed etc. To see DISQUS in action visit this post and check under the comments section. You can see tweets and FriendFeed likes listed in a neat way.
A good solution to recent change in how Google handle nofollow
Recent changes made to the Google algorithm made it important how you handle the links in your website. Because now nofollow links also leak page rank. The algorithm was changed to counter page rank sculpting , but since DISQUS is a java script based comment system it provides a good solution to page rank leakage.
Get a notification when there a reply only to your comment
Ever made a comment in another blog and subscribed to the comments expecting a reply. You might get a reply but the problem is you are e-mail notifications for all the other irrelevant comments as well. But if you commented in a DISQUS enabled blog like mine you will get a notification if someone specifically replied to your comment. This way you get a reply to your question while avoiding all the unnecessary comments.
I hope these reasons and the reasone given in the previous post , DISQUS best commenting system will at least make you try out DISQUS.
