How to start making money online in Sri Lanka
Joining paid to read e-mail or paid to click sites is not recommended because you only make pennies that way. During the last three years I have tried those and I haven't earned much from them. So you don't need to make the same mistake. Getting paid to do surveys is a legitimate business but most of the surveys are targeted at US , Canada and UK citizens. So as a Sri Lankan chances of you getting profitable surveys are very less , below are few ways I use to make money online.

Paid To Click or PTC websites are an easy way to earn money online. These websites let you make money without extra effort, require no skills, and are free. All you have to do is click a few ads. I personally earn around US $ 100 from PTC sites.
The best thing about making money online is its passive income. Once you set it up things you have to do to maintain is minimum. If I stopped my online money making activities right now I will still be getting 200$ or more for the new few months doing nothing. I think that is what you want to achieve , not clicking ads everyday , Finally its your decision but I personally feel passive income is the best , although its a bit hard at the start.
There is no super magic formula , this is the result of two years constant hard work
look this may b stupid qs 4u bt i want to know what is passive income
I am a member too. But how do you earn that much in clicking 4 ads a day at 0.01?
Great job Nishadha, Ur postings help a lot for Sri Lnakans like me who are desperately hunting for online income sources. As u very well said Sri Lankans are not getting much opportunities in participating on Paid Surveys. I came across a site who claim to be paid survey providers ti Sri Lankans. This particular site is http://www.SriLankaNetjobs.com
Do you have any idea as to whether this is a legitimate site.
Anyway Thanks for your good effort. Keep it up!
I request you to explain affiliate marketing in detail.
Guys, It’s bull’s Crap ! Don’t sign up with srilankanetjobs website. I joined this wesbite thinking that i might be able to earn money online, it’s a real fake. The guy who operates this website is one paikyasothy or some kind of name similar to this. He has created this website by paying an amount to a good website provider and he has given marvelous stories that you can make easy money. I joined this service and did not get any surveys. Not even a single one.The companies listed in his data base is completely for Foreign countries. If you need a clarification, call me and i’ll tell you more details. Call me: 0776776701
I am addressing the guys who commented recently……
This is a good site, and the information is correct. You can make money online in Sri Lanka despite diffculties in accessing the cash. Everything doesnt happen overnight and skill levels matter. However as a low tech guy I am making $200 a month and in another 6 months I know that I will be making $600 a month by continuig my current freelancer work as well as PTC site. After that as this site suggests, I will enter FX trading, hopefully after doing some self study so that I won’t lose my shirt. MY target $1000 a month!
Thank you Nishada for this site, I was encouraged to continue my online journey after seeing this!
Thanks Sugathan for the reply u posted for the quarry I made about srilankanetjobs.
I deem it is part our duties to alert Sri Lankans prevent them from getting fallen onto Scams. But also appreciated that if someone can disclose information about legitimate income sources the are really earning through (not PTC). This should be done with good faith and not for the mere purpose of trying to sell their products (affiliates).
Kindly tell us your (true)success stories dear Sri Lankans, as we can share them for the benefit of everybody.
