A big apology to all my RSS readers who subscribed by e-mail.If you have gotten a older post by e-mail that was just me fooling around with Adsense in my older posts.If you are serious about making some money online and don't have the bucks to spend on nice designs and developers I suggest you go and learn some PHP.If you don't know what PHP is,its a programming language and almost every wordpress theme and blogger template is written using PHP.It is actually not that hard to learn , of course like anything it takes time to master but to learn the very basics you don't need to spend much time.
So why should you spend the time to learn it ? Well there are plenty of reasons. The most important thing is that it enables you tweak your website according to your needs.All this time whenever I made a post I use to add my Adsense code in manually to every post. This not only took more of my time but when I want to do some site wide change I found it very messy.
Well anyone who knows something about Adsense knows that its better to place it above your post topic , since I didn't know how to do it I always had my image of Elephants there.Now little by little I'm starting figure out these PHP stuff so I finally managed to got rid of it and insert a nice Adsense block into it.Only then did I realize the horror of my previous method , now Adsense ads not only appeared above the post they appeared just under them as well making the blog look like its cluttered with ads , and of course I started removing them and when I saved them again,the unfortunate incident of older posts getting delivered by e-mail.
This thing has thought me a lesson and I'm going to spend a little time learning some PHP.I think its a worthwhile investment for any blogger since almost every software related to blogging is written in PHP.
PHP Challenges
- The no of comments made by top commentators are not displaying just after them but under them , so first priority is fix that
- Recent comments are showing track backs and replies made by myself , need to fix that as well , although it is more likely to do with the MySql statement thats fetching them.
Very true.. In fact PHP could be the simplest of languages that can be learned. In fact I learned it by my self in my firstyear at UNI. Anyhow any biginner who likes to code PHP always try to make your codes in OOP. PHP 5 is fully OOP language. Yet Web has somany PHP4 scripts. Which are not Fully OO. I did two massive projects without Object Orientation with PHP. Dam.. I still suffer when I get updates of it. Simply because bad practice. PHP is one of my love I guess he he..
If we have sound knwldge in PHP then we can earn from freelance sites.. it’s kinda emerging tech!!!

PHP is a very accessible language, so you'll be making your first step in a matter of minutes. And there is plenty of help around on the internet, so you'll probably never get stuck.
