Techxtreme is a personnel blog by Abhinav Sood where he blogs about cool technical tips , Registry edits and many more cool stuff. My first encounter with Techxtreme was when they had this cool idea about listing 50 awesome blogs in the internet. So predictably I commented on the post and got a link back to my blog. whats more he’s a proud member of the doFollow brigade. If you have no idea about it you can read all about in in this in this post about no follow tags. After reading the post about removing no follow tags I wanted to do this no follow thing in my wordpress hosted blog too. Since I’m not a very technical guy I commented asking him to give a guide on how do this in wordpress and I was kind of surprised when I got the article in the blog within 4-5 hours. Now thats what you call responding to your readers.
So when I saw his blog in the review list in Fair Review Project I grabbed the chance to review his blog. As I mentioned before the content is great and mostly related to computer technologies. The layout is also great looking although I think it would be better if the posts were a bit higher in the page. However one big drawback I found out was there were no categories. I kind of wanted to find out about his articles about Registry edits but had a hard time finding it. There is a label and tag cloud but it is kind of big so its not easy to find anything there. So I think Abhinav could increase the user experience much more if he can add a categories list.

Hey, thanks for the review! I appreciate you pointing out those things that may be a potential cause of the less number of readers at techXtreme. The posts have already risen higher in the time that I have taken to post this comment. I have wished to use another header image for techXtreme that is much shorter in height, this one takes a lots of space, but I kind of love this one as I have designed it with such heart !
I am still thinking about it, and I am so very confused. Do lend me your opinion, I will mail you another design for criticism.
Tags cloud was meant to solve the purpose of listing categories only, but the poor thing is that if the cloud is so big, imagine how long the linear ordered list while run if left that way ! That was the sole reason behind the changes!
Regrets for all the inconvenience caused in the navigation. And thanks again for all the appreciation above!
