It’s the “controversy theory” I guess, when a header is out the ordinary visitors gather to see what it is. Awesome right!. I will tell you another theory. I call it the ” Loyalty theory ” (he he.. just named). You know I wrote this article around early January about Support “Sinharaja Forest” New7Wonders Of Nature !.. Nominee From Sri Lanka. Believe me this good 600 visits. Simply because Loyal Sri lankans love to support a thing of their own. Kind of interesting theory right ?

Yes I agree that the headline is the first impression but in order to get your post submitted genuinely by a large audience to Digg and other social bookmarking services and groups one has to identify and cater to the active ‘DIGG’ user. Most of whom are tech geeks and bloggers to begin with.
Don’t cater your posts to ‘hits’ cater your posts to topics relating to your Blog. If you note all your hits pertaining to a free blog and domain name will result only in people coming to gather info on blogging and then depart. You need regular readers not hits.

The title of this post grabbed my attention before I knew who the author was. I must admit other than the blogs I usually read others grab me by the title.
Yes, when we see a question in the post our habitual reaction is to answer but not necessarily always.
Best posts for me are the ones that sound like they came straight from the heart. That of course is for personal blogs. Trying too hard to please everyone really ruins the writing and the post.
And I guess for technical blogs or blogs of any particular subject that would have to be how simply written they are that would make someone want to come again and again.
