How to write that perfect post ? That will get digged and stumbled and make you famous. Well it sure isn’t easy otherwise every blogger in the world will be doing it. I’ve being blogging for a while now , and little by little come to understand what the readers want and how to attract readers. So I thought I’ll share what I learned with you.
Without a doubt what attract readers most is the title of the post. It doesn’t matter how good the content is but if you didn’t get the readers attention in the title chances are he will skip this. Here’s an example from my blog. I posted about two sites in my blog. Both are cool sites and both of them will help you in your blogging needs. The titles were techxtreme and want more readers + a free domain , for the techxtreme post I got a few visitors while for the other one I’m still getting visits and comments .Asking a question in the title also seems to get more attention. Its like your engaging the reader in a conversation. Asking a question at the start of the post is also good ( Can you see the question ? 
) , Actually asking a question in anywhere is good ( author is pointing the finger to the line above ).
So you got the readers attention , Now what ? I haven’t actually tried these yet , but I have being reading blogs for a while and here are some things that keeps me interested. Since I consider myself normal these things should interest others as well.
- Some astonishing fact or number (eg:-Bill Gates makes 1200$ every second )
- A quote from a famous person related to the post
- Cute babe wearing n…. ( oh yeah )
Of course above mentioned are general things , Things about war , human rights and stuff usually gets the attention of Sri Lankan surfers. And for me the magic word is SLIIT , when I write something about SLIIT my visitors sky rocket. So what do you add to make it the perfect post ? Feel free to comment.

It’s the “controversy theory” I guess, when a header is out the ordinary visitors gather to see what it is. Awesome right!. I will tell you another theory. I call it the ” Loyalty theory ” (he he.. just named).You know I wrote this article around early January about Support “Sinharaja Forest” New7Wonders Of Nature !.. Nominee From Sri Lanka. Believe me this good 600 visits. Simply because Loyal Sri lankans love to support a thing of their own. Kind of interesting theory right ?
