Data entry is a niche populated with spam sites looking to make some quick cash with fake sites. However I think people are getting wiser and look for reviews of those service before paying cash for anything. So these data entry scam sites have also gotten smarter and always looking for new ways to exploit the system. I got quite a few mails inquiring about TyperSpace, a new site that has entered the data entry niche. In this TyperSpace review I’ll explain why I think it’s a scam and why you should avoid it.
Domain Contact Hidden
I know some people have privacy concerns but if a company is hiding contact details I’m always a bit vary of using there services. Also they proclaim to be a Canadian company but have a US address and the domain is registered in Australia. All the signs point to a site that is looking to hide who they are and that is one thing common with most fake data entry job providing sites.
No Tracking Codes
Any legit website will track their visitor and their behavior using some web analytic system. The most common one is Google analytic which is free. I couldn’t find any such code in typerspace.com. This usually means they don’t care about data and ways to improve their site. Another sign of a temporary site.
Very Similar Site Existing
Con artists are usually lazy people. And they tend to move on from one scam to another once they’re latest one is discovered. So I did a search for some of their content and found another site called datajobz.com that had the same content in their description. Ironically the title of that site is also Typer Space. Again confirming my suspicion that this is an scam site.
If you dig a bit deeper you’ll notice that domain registrant details are very similar for both typerspace.com and datajobz.com. Not that is bit too much of a coincidence for my liking.
To Wrap Up My TyperSpace Review
I think TyperSpace is a cleverly designed website that moves away from the traditional look and feel of a data entry site. You don’t find any reviews praising the service and the site is designed elegantly. Also they show renewal feed in their payment system to make it look like they have some continuity to the site. But when you consider all the facts mentioned above it has a very high chance of been a scam site.
