OIO publisher makes managing your blogs advertising super easy and lets you focus on more important tasks in your blog. I have had OIO publisher for a while but never got around to using it and have to say that was a pretty stupid move on my part. This WordPress plug-in is great for someone who don’t have a good knowledge of PHP but still wants to display the ads in a professional way. You can see OIO publisher in action just below the Entrecard widget. Creating a professional looking advertisement block like that is super easy with OIO publisher , so if you are thinking of selling private advertising in your blog then OIO publisher is definitely a must have WordPress plug-in. Below image demonstrates how easy it is to create a banner ad zone like shown in this blog. Please click on the image to view it in full size.
The descriptions in the image pretty much explains what needs to be done. You can decide how many columns and rows you should have , spacing between the ads , whether to use the no follow attribute or not and you can even specify how much extra you are charging if you are not using the no follow option. Now that you have created the ad zone you need to add the advertisements to show before the advertisers starts coming in. With OIO publisher this is also very easy to do. For every ad zone you create there’s a default ad configuration section. Here you can specify how many default ads to show. For example when you are starting out you can you can leave one slot for the advertisers and show default ads in the other sections.
As you can see its pretty easy to add affiliates banners as default ads. You just need to copy and paste the HTML code given to you. It you want to add an image and link to it there is that option as well in the drop down menu. After setting up the zone you can go to your theme and add an OIOpub banner zone widget to your theme and select the zone number you want to show in that widget and you got your banner as zone in your blog. I hope this review convinces you to try out OIO publisher.
